Elements of the new Apple Maps “city experience” are starting to appear in Los Angeles:

While this could be a bug, it suggests that Apple might be preparing to launch its new city experience for Los Angeles in the near future.

Apple has added a number of new 3D models across Los Angeles, including the Cathedral of Our Lady of the Angels, the Dome Entertainment Centre, the MOCA Pacific Design Center, and the Banc of California Stadium, among others.

(In late May 2021, Apple added a number of new 3D models across San Francisco. Less than two weeks later, Apple unveiled its new “city experience” for San Francisco.)
