iOS 15 BETA 2 CARTOGRAPHY CHANGES

Landcover color changes. (Generally, everything has less of a yellow tint.)
• Adjusted typography for physical features. (They’re now smaller, lighter, and less legible.)
• Adjusted typography for city labels. (Mainly, letter spacing adjustments.)
• POI icons for national parks now visible at earlier zoom-levels.


• No new “city experiences”. (Based on Apple’s past release patterns, Los Angeles, San Diego, and New York are likeliest to receive the new “city experience” next—with L.A. having the highest chances.)
• No new map data for Italy or Australia.
• No new 3D landmark buildings in the San Francisco Bay Area.
• Condensed type removed for neighborhoods and areas within cities:


U.K. and Ireland custom road colors now visible at earlier zoom-levels in “Driving” mode:


• Darker colors for freeways in “Driving” mode.
• Thinner lines for major arterial roads in “Driving” mode.
• Lighter colors for ferry lines in “Driving” mode.
• Slightly lighter colors for water bodies in “Driving” mode.
• Thinner lines for traffic, making it slightly harder to see:
