On April 9th, 2020, Apple’s new map expanded to a number of U.S. territories, including Puerto Rico, Guam, and the U.S. Virgin Islands:
This is the eighth time that Apple has expanded its new map since its public launch in September 2018:
APPLE’S PROGRESS
With this latest expansion, Apple’s new map now covers 99.93% of the U.S.’s area...
...and 99.97% of the U.S. population:
(As of April 9th, 2020, Apple’s new map does not cover American Samoa, the Northern Mariana Islands, and most of the United States Minor Outlying Islands. So this is why Apple’s new map doesn’t yet cover 100% of the U.S. in the graphs above.)
